Conditions of the visits

 

  • To avoid overcrowding and encourage staggered visitor access, visitors are kindly requested to plan their visit well in advance by yourTickets purchased online. Once purchased, tickets must be confirmed at Covalanas Cave 15 minutes before the start of the visit. Once the ticket has been purchased, neither the date nor the session start time can be changed. Money will not be refunded either.

  • Before visiting, please check availability at Covalanas before going to the cave.

  • Online tickets can be purchased until 9:00 a.m. on the day of the visit and must be validated at the ticket office.

  • Le maximum number of visitors per day, for conservation reasons, are4 people per session and 12 people per day.

  • Please respect at all times the indications of the staff and the signs of the centre regarding conservation and obligatory compliance.

  • The visit is guided and lasts approximately 45 minutes.

  • During the visit, comfortable, non-slip footwear and warm clothing are recommended.

  • The cave has no electrical installation, so torches are necessary. These will be provided by the guide at the beginning of the visit.

  • From the car park to the Covalanas cave visitors must walk along an uphill pedestrian path there is an ascending footpath approximadetely 650 metres long. Motorhomes and vehicles that exceed the 2.1 metre gauge height are not allowed in the car park.
