Conditions of the visits
  • To avoid crowds and encourage staggered access for visitors, please plan your visit well in advance, acquiring advance entry online. Once the ticket is purchased online, the date and time of the visit cannot be modified. The money will not be returned either.

  • For reservations by phone, payment will be made primarily with a credit card. On the day of the visit, the reservation must be formalized at the box office, 10 minutes before the start of the visit, otherwise you will lose the right to reserve.

  • Reservations and online purchases are not allowed on the day.

  • On the day you can only buy the ticket at the box office, in case of availability and in order of arrival. Please check the Please check the availability of the center before going if you do not have an entrancebefore going if you do not have an entrance.

  • The Visitor Reception Center is located next to the soccer field, located at the entrance of Riclones from Las Herrerías.

  • To promote staggered access for visitors to the center, you must go between 20 to 30 minutes before the start of the visit.

  • Advance or reservation purchases, as well as day purchases, must be registered at the box office, located in the Visitor Reception Center, waiting in line on a first-come, first-served basis and keeping the interpersonal security distance.

  • The guide will request tickets 5 minutes before the start of the visit.

  • There is a maximum capacity of 6 people per session.

  • Respect at all times the indications of the staff and the signs of the center regarding conservation.

  • During your stay in the facilities of the center and during the visit, please do not touch the surfaces.

  • The visit is guided and lasts approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

  • During the visit, the use of comfortable shoes that do not slip and warm clothing is recommended.

  • The pedestrian access to the cave is formed by a forest track and a pedestrian path, with some degree of difficulty in transit. Both sections are done on foot, in a time interval estimated at around 30 minutes. On rainy days it is possible to travel through sections of mud and water. 

  • The cave lacks electrical installation.  It’s necessary to use flashlights, which will be provided by the guide at the beginning of the visit.

  • The first 15 meters of the route inside the cavity are done crawling, due to the low height of this first section. The use of helmets and knee pads that will be provided by the guide for your safety.

  • In the event that the pedestrian access path to the cavity is flooded by the Palombera reservoir, the visit will be canceled.
