The visit is guided and has an approximate duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes. For reasons of conservation, there is a maximum quota of 6 people per session. It is advisable to book by email or phone calling to (0034) 9188.8.131.52 and online purchases at least one day in advance, according to availability. The visitor reception centre is located next to the football field, located at the entrance of Riclones. Where the pedestrian path to the cavity is flooded by the reservoir of Palombera, the visit will be cancelled.
The pedestrian access to the cave is formed by a forest track and another pedestrian path, with a certain degree of difficulty in transit. Both sections are performed on foot, in an estimated time interval of around 30 minutes. By the natural morphology of the cave, the first 15 meters must be crawling by a low altitude pass. For this reason, it’s neccesary the use of helmets and knee pads during the visit wich will be distributed by the Guide.
For reasons of conservation the cave does not have artificial lighting. The visit is carried out with flashlights. These are provided by the Guide at the start of the visit. During the visit the use of comfortable footwear that does not slip and outerwear is recommended.
